Other Projects of Ghamkol Sharif Complex
1. Employment Resource Centre: Employment Resource Centre is funded by the Birmingham City Council to help unemployed people to provide help, advice and guidance on employment, futher & higher education and training opportunities to contribute positively in the economy of the UK.
2. Ghamkol Sharif City Academy (Golden Hillock Local Learning Centre): City academy is run by the City College, which is one of the largest college in the United Kingdom. City College strives to provide almost all courses and training opportunities (from pre-entry to ESOL, GCSE, A level, Child Care, Food Hygine, Health & Safety etc) needed to the local community. All these facilities are for all communities - we strongly believe in Equal Opps Policies.
3. Textile Centre: This project is also managed by the city college. It pleases us say that this is one the best centres in the West Midlands.
4. Mentle Health Project: Golden Hillock Community Day Care Centre is run by the Masjid (Mosque) with the help of NHS to meet the needs of local communities.
5. Golden Hillock Islamic Funeral Service: Islamic Funeral Service was set up by the Management Committe to cater for the needs of Muslim community.
6. Printing Press: GN Printers run a private business in the Masjid complex.
7. Right Start: This project helps to those individuals who got some kind of addictions etc.
