Community Services
Religious Programmes:
Mehfl-e-Zikr: Mehfl-e-Zikr is held on saturday evenings to illuminate the hearts and minds of people with the zikr of Allah since Hazrat Sufi sahib came in the UK.
Meelaad Sharif (Birth day of our beloved Prophet Muahmmad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Hazrat Soofi Mohammad Abdullah sahib commenced to celebrate Meelaad Sharif (Birth day of our beloved Prophet Muahmmad (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
Ghairaween Sharif: Ghairaween Sharif for Esaal-e-Sawab is celebrated every month.
Urs Sharif: Urs Sharif of Hazoor Zinda Pir Sahib is celebrated every year to commemorate D'awa work carried out by him and other Awliya Allah.
Madrassah/School: A supplementary school was set up by the Trust to run Quranic, Hifz, Islamic and Urdu language classes for Muslim children.
Nikah Service: Nikah/Religious Marriage services are provided by the Masjid (Mosque) (it is strongly recommended to register marriages in the registrar's office to meet the legal requirements of the UK laws).
Funeral Services: Funeral services are also offered in the Ghamkos Sharif Masjid. All the relevant facilities (from hospital to Masjid then cemetary/Airport) are available. Greiving families can use the Masjid halls (separate for mend and women) for Fatiha/Dua and to provide meals to their family freinds free of charge.
Conferences: Conferences are arranged to enhance understanding and knowledge of Islam through out the year and bring the communities closer. Muslim scholars are invited from all over the world to imaprt knowledge to Muslims and give better insight into Islamic faith and Muslim community to all the conference attenders. |
